Evelina Lolesi is an architectural graduate, with Masters in Architecture (Professional) and Heritage Conservation from the University of Auckland. She is also a multi-disciplinary artist and writer from Tamaki Makaurau, Auckland. Evelina creates short stories, collages and photographs based on her identity as a Pākeha/Samoan person and the spatial knowledge of Tagata Moana (people of the Pacific). Her research interests include Aotearoa’s Architectural history, Pacific architecture, Heritage buildings and sites, Pacific and indigenous spatial knowledge and her Pākeha/Pacific identity.
